Juniors and seniors are also eligible to participate in College Credit Plus,
which offers them the opportunity to earn college credits through LCCC or Cedarville for free. College Credit Plus can offer a great post-secondary experience to supplement
a student's education at CCS.

National History Day:
A Multi-Faceted Learning Experience
National History Day (NHD) is a year-long academic program focused on historical research, interpretation and creative expression. By participating in NHD, students become writers, filmmakers, web designers, playwrights and artists as they create unique contemporary expressions of history. More than half a million middle and high school students participate annually.
Because of NHD's multi-faceted academic benefits, it has been fully integrated into the CCS curriculum for grades 8 and 11. At the beginning of each school year, students choose a historical topic that fits the annual NHD theme and spend the year going through the research process. Students can choose to create an exhibit, documentary, website, or performance.
