Some great events are happening on campus. Campus Crash is our version of an Open House where students spend a day with CCS teachers and students. Anyone in grades 1 -10 can sit in on a grade-level classroom, enjoy a free pizza lunch, and participate in afternoon games and competition. If you are interested in signing up, e-mail Kim Holsopple at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the school office at 440-748-6224.
A second event that is happening in our Legacy Gym is the Harry Gerent Memorial Wild Game Dinner on Friday, March 14th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Never tasted boar meat? This dinner will be your chance to sample many unique meats and other delicious side dishes. Tickets are available at the school office.
This Wednesday, February 5, 2014, CCS will be holding the annual Academic Challenge.
CCS holds a Junior Academic Challenge for grades 7 – 8 from 10:30 am – 11:45 am and a Senior Academic Challenge for students in grades 9 – 12 from 12:30 pm – 2:45 pm. Students from each class compete against other grades in subjects from Spanish to Literature and Fine Arts to Current Events. Parents and Grandparents are welcome to attend these events.
This Saturday evening, January 18th, the CCS Choir is joining forces with several Cleveland ministries for a regional night of worship and prayer. The gathering is hosted by Grace Church, 7393 Pearl Road, Middleburg Heights, Ohio from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. What a great opportunity for Christians of all ages to assemble and intercede for Northeast Ohio. The CCS choir will be leading worship with HISNAMEHIGH and several students will be leading in prayer.
Brian and Tammy Smith, choir directors, have been teaching the students about intercession, worship, testimonies, and other aspects of ministry life. CCS is unleashing young people to do what God has called them to do – touch the broken with the love of God.
Please join hundreds of people this Saturday to exalt the Lord and pray for Northeast Ohio.
